Recommending FIRST READING of Bill 121, CD1 (2023), to amend the Fiscal Year 2024 Budget by: 1) amending Section 2, Estimated Revenues, by increasing Carryover/Savings from the General Fund by $7,403,895; 2) amending Section 3.B.9., Department of Management, by adding a new program entitled “Office of Recovery” with 8.0 equivalent personnel, a Category A (Salaries) appropriation of $403,895, a Category B (Operations & Equipment) appropriation of $7,000,000, and a Total appropriation of $7,403,895; 3) adjusting the totals accordingly; and 4) amending Appendix A, Part I, Grants and Restricted Uses Revenues - Schedule of Grants and Restricted Use Revenues by Departments and Programs for Fiscal Year 2024, by adding a new appropriation entitled “Private Donations” under the Department of Management, in the amount of $200,000.
