"A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE COUNTY OF MAUI TO ENTER INTO AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE U.S. IMMIGRATION AND CUSTOMS ENFORCEMENT HOMELAND SECURITY INVESTIGATIONS" The purpose of this bill is to authorize the Mayor to enter into an intergovernmental agreement with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Homeland Security Investigations (“ICE”) to designate MPD officers as custom officers and provide appropriate training.
