"A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2023 BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF MAUI AS IT PERTAINS TO THE GENERAL BUDGET PROVISIONS" The purpose of this bill is to amend Section 20 of the General Budget Provisions to give the Department of Finance more flexibility to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) when preparing the annual comprehensive financial reporting and compliance with (GAAP).
