The Department for HIV Elimination requests approval of additional “Ending the HIV Epidemic” grant funding in the amount of $804,229.00 in FY22 to subrecipient agencies: NAESM Men’s Health and Wellness Center, Inc.- $445,468.00; Atlanta Harm Reduction Coalition, Inc.- $236,957.00; Open Hand Atlanta- $55,800.00; AID Atlanta, Inc.- $26,004.00; and Positive Impact Health Centers, Inc.- $40,000.00. In FY23, a funding amount of $770,760.00 to subrecipient agencies: NAESM Men’s Health and Wellness Center, Inc.- $445,468.00; Atlanta Harm Reduction Coalition, Inc.- $243,488.00; Open Hand Atlanta- $55,800.00; and AID Atlanta, Inc.- $26,004.00. In FY24, a funding amount of $776,947.00 to subrecipient agencies: NAESM Men’s Health and Wellness Center, Inc.- $445,468.00; Atlanta Harm Reduction Coalition, Inc.- $249,675.00; Open Hand Atlanta- $55,800.00; and AID Atlanta, Inc.- $26,004.00. The five subrecipient agencies will provide HIV services to clients utilizing additional funds. Request authorization for the Chairman to execute contracts with selected subrecipients. To protect the interest of the County, the County Attorney is authorized to approve the contracts as to form and substance and make any necessary modifications thereto prior to execution by the Chair.
