11. 9 Deviating from the agenda, Chair Eggers distributed information related to the late Sergeant Nicholas Flowers and indicated that a vote to consider renaming a portion of County Road 1 in his honor is anticipated to occur at the May 18 Board of County Commissioners meeting. In an additional deviation from the agenda, Commissioner Nowicki indicated that he would like to determine whether the members would oppose publishing posts for Good Friday and Easter on the County’s social media accounts. Attorney White related that while she believes it would be appropriate, she would suggest avoiding religious messaging; whereupon, Chair Eggers confirmed that there is consensus to allow the posts to be published.
