Ord. #O1690 relating to comprehensive planning; making findings; amending Part 1: Goals, Objectives and Policies of the City of Miramar Comprehensive Plan, pursuant to the requirements of Sections 163.3184(2) and (3), Florida Statutes, Article 1.1(a) of Administrative Rules Document: BrowardNext, and Chapter 3, Sub-Sections 303.6 -303.9 of the City of Miramar Land Development Code; more specifically amending the goals, objectives and policies of the Future Land Use Element of the City’s adopted Comprehensive Plan; revising Policy 1.14 to modify the distribution and intensity of the approved mix of uses within the Transit-Oriented Corridor Land Use Category; collapsing the allocation of the residential uses into single-family (755 dwelling units) and multifamily units (2,651 dwelling units); reducing the allocation of office uses from 2,500,000 square feet to 2,000,000 square feet; providing for adoption; providing for transmittal to the Broward County Planning Council and the State of Florida Department of Economic Opportunity; providing for severability; providing for interpretation; providing for correction of scrivener’s errors; providing for recertification; and providing for an effective date.
