Ord. #O1636 amending City Code Chapter 15 “Pensions”, Article V “City Retirement Plan and Trust Fund”, Division 1 “Generally”; amending City Code Chapter 15 “Pensions”, Article VI “Management Pension Plan and Trust Fund”; Creating Section 15-328(a) of the City Code to permit the purchase of up to five years of enhanced service credit in the General Employee Plan provided that the member pays the full actuarial cost; creating Section 15-328(b) of the City Code to permit members of the General Employees Plan to purchase prior City service in the 401(a) plan provided that the member pays the full actuarial cost; creating Section 15-328(c) of the City Code to provide for rulemaking authority of the board; amending Sections 15-356(e) and (g) of the City Code to permit the purchase of up to five years of enhanced service credit in the Management Plan provided the member pays the full actuarial cost; providing for severability; providing for codification; providing for an effective date.
