Contract - Authorizing the Acting City Manager, consistent with the City land acquisition policy, to secure two independent appraisals for the purpose of purchasing an 80’ x an approximately 1,700’ strip of land to accommodate a segment of the future Rhode Island Ave. extension and a 60’ x an approximately 2550’ strip of land for a future road known as Energy Ave. The authorization would include the Acting City Manager negotiating a fee simple purchase of the Rhode Island land and the acquisition of Energy Ave. land via fee simple acquisition funded through a proportionate fair share arrangement - Ron A. Paradise, Community Development Director (386) 878-8610. Strategic Goal: Develop the infrastructure and land needed for business development.
