- 7 November minutes were moved by Arellano and seconded by Delbo. All in favor.
- 8 OLD BUSINESS - Rodriguez presented proposed resolution for the adoption of pet waste stations based on previous committee feedback. 1. Before moving forward, Communications staff to investigate costs associated with pet waste stations before reconvening in February. Additional information to be provided in February would include how pet station adopters would be recognized and who determines where the stations will be located.

- 9 Innovation & Technology Director Rodulfo walked through the new city mobile app/citizen request center and asked for committee members’ feedback on the user experience. 1. Citizen Request Center including city mobile app is live for a soft launch for 30 days 2. Committee asked about city vs. county vs state jurisdiction when reporting issues with sidewalks, roads, etc. 3. Arellano mentioned issues with account login as part of new trial. Rodulfo asked the Committee for recommendations on the best way to promote the new mobile app/request center soft launch. 1. Communications staff will promote via social media, website and E-News Arellano suggested that Communications staff leverage tools offered by Salesforce for marketing purposes.

- 14 Garcia presented social media report for 2023 1. Airaghi and Arellano asked about E-News open rate year over year 2. Pantin asked for suggestions on increasing number of E-News subscribers 3. Some of the ideas staff mentioned are: 3a. Including a QR code/sign-up link in residents’ solid waste bill 3b. Including sign-up link in when users download materials from city site such as trolley schedule, etc. 3c. Include sign up link In welcome packets sent to new residents that recently moved into the city 3d. As a pop-up feature on the website 3e. Social channels 4. Arellano asked where sign-ups are coming from 4a. Pantin said they’re organic (from the website, from event sign-ins, etc.)
