- 6 Country Club Director’s Report After a brief introduction, Deputy Director Carolina gave the board members an update on upcoming programming at Coral Gables Golf and Country Club. a. General Country Club Division Updates • Athletic Club The Athletic Club Manager Carlos Llompart began his report by informing the board members about athletic club updates. He continued to provide information on membership sales and revenues, events and special activities, and updates on new equipment. • Venue The Venue Manager Valerie Pinon continued to offer more information about the forthcoming Fall Members' Mixer. She explained how they were able to secure sponsorship for this mixer. • Le Parc Café The Deputy Director Carolina provided the board with updates on Le Parc Café. The board members were informed by Deputy Director Carolina that they may present their members' key fobs at Le Parc Café to receive a 10% discount. • Upcoming CIP Projects Deputy Director Carolina updated the board on the club's forthcoming CIP projects. b. Event Updates • New Event Ideas Deputy Director Carolina Vester encouraged the board to support the Coral Gables Golf and Country Club staff by sharing event ideas for the club and its members. • Upcoming Events Deputy Director Carolina Vester proceeded to update the board on the forthcoming events for the month of September, including Pollinator Palooza - September 28 at 9:30 a.m. and Alma de Tango Annual Masquerade Ball - Friday, October 18 at 8 p.m. c. General Community Recreation Updates Director Couceyro continued with the forthcoming event for the month of September, A Saturday at the Cinema, September, "The Sting" - Saturday, September 28 at 11 a.m., Game Night with Commissioner Castro - September 28 at 4:30 p.m., Paws in the Pool - Sunday, October 6 at 10 a.m., Coral Gables Pumpkin Patch - Saturday, October 19 at 2 p.m., AAC Halloween Spooktacular 2024 - Friday, October 25 at 1 p.m., A Saturday at the Cinema, October, "The Exorcist" - Saturday, October 26 at 11 a.m., Gentle Trick or Treat - Saturday, October 26 at 1 p.m. and Trick-or-Treat on the Mile - Saturday, October 26 at 3 p.m.
- 6 A MOTION TO APPROVE THE AUGUST MEETING MINUTES WAS MADE BY RUBEN RODRIGUEZ AND SECOND BY SHERRY CELESIA. ALL IN FAVOR; PASSED UNANIMOUSLY.
- 7 NEW BUSINESS
- 8 a. Athletic Club Maintenance Week Closure – Thursday, Oct. 3 – Sunday, Oct. 6, 2024 Deputy Director Carolina continued to inform the board that they are considering performing a maintenance closure for the athletic club as part of the contract to improve the surroundings of the club. They plan to perform maintenance on Thursday, October 3 through Sunday, October 6. She also informed the members that they will send another notice to them about the closure of the club next week.

- 10 a. Update on alleyway to turn into a one-way Deputy Director Carolina proceeded to inform the board on the alleyway. She went on to say that they will first meet with staff to examine the plans. She also stated that legally, they cannot add or place anything there. But they will give an update at the next meeting. b. Update on membership surveys Deputy Director Carolina informed the board that they had finally received authority from the communications and public relations department to post.

- 13 Next meeting date is Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at 4 p.m. A MOTION TO MOVE THE OCTOBER MEETING TO THE 30TH MADE BY ALBERT SANCHEZ AND SECOND RUBEN RODRIGUEZ. ALL IN FAVOR; PASSED UNANIMOUSLY.
