General Updates: The supervisor's report was initiated by AAC Supervisor Norma Gavarrete, who discussed the AAC's past events for the month of October, AAC Halloween Spooktacular 2024 - Friday, October 25 at 1 p.m. and A Saturday at the Cinema, October, "The Exorcist" - Saturday, October 26 at 11 a.m. and forthcoming programs, such as field trips. b. Special Events: AAC Norma Gavarrete proceeded to update the board on the forthcoming events for the months of November and December, - 16th Annual Dr. William Schiff Art Show at the Palace – Friday, November 15 at 6 p.m., Holiday Luncheon at the Palace- Friday, December 20 at 1 p.m. and A Saturday at the Cinema, “The Shawshank Redemption” – Saturday, December 28 at 11 a.m. Judging for the 16th Annual Dr. William Schiff Art Show on Thursday, November 14 after the Senior Advisory Board meeting. c. Administrative Updates: Director Couceyro proceeded to update the board on the forthcoming events for the month of November and December, Granada Pro Shop and Diner Ribbon-Cutting – Thursday, November 14 at 6:30 p.m., Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony - Friday, December 6 at 5 p.m., Hot Chocolate with Santa - Saturday, December 8 & Sunday, December 21 at 9 a.m., Movies Under the Gables Moonlight featuring Elf – Friday, December 20 at 6 p.m. and Junior Orange Bowl Parade – Sunday, December 15 at 5 p.m. Director Couceyro continued to provide the board with an update on the improvements at City Hall. In addition, Director Couceyro disclosed that the Rotary Centennial Park Community Meeting was held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, October 1. He continued to share by providing an update on the Blue Road, Toledo and Alava initiatives. He then proceeded to elaborate on the concession for the Venetian Pool, Nellie B. Moore Park, and William & Leona Cooper Park. In addition, he pursued forthcoming initiatives for the holiday park and installation of holiday tree.
