- 8 Ms. Meagher read the January 2025 House Report. The report was shared with the Board in advance of the meeting and is included as an attachment to the minutes.
- VII. DISCUSSION ITEMS
- 2. 100 Voices – Positive feedback was received for the February 2nd event. Mayor Lago requested a copy of the video.
- VIII. ITEMS FROM THE SECRETARY
- 3. Time Capsule – Chairperson Meagher discussed creating a time capsule for the Centennial. Staff mentioned that the Coral Gables Museum is currently working on a time capsule. Staff will ask if the Museum is willing to partner with the Merrick House on this.

- 1. Merrick Minute at City Commission – Board Member Meagher received approval and will attend the February 11, 2025 Commission meeting. Board Member Burke will attend the March 11, 2025 meeting.
- 2. Garden Club Event – Board Members will not be working this event scheduled for February 23, 2025. The House will be opened for set up at 11:00AM.
- 3. Coral Market – 13 vendors have signed up for this event. Kylie Wang, Editor of Coral Gables Magazine, will be helping with publicity. This event will be moved to Saturday, March 15, 2025 due to Carnivale on the Mile.
- 4. Garage Cleanup – Staff to put in a request to Public Works in order to assist in the garage cleanup.
- 5. Stag Painting - Staff suggests moving forward with a Professional Services Agreement (PSA) for the vendor. The PSA protects the City when purchasing services and clearly outlines the expectations and obligations of all parties.
- 6. Furniture – Staff will be providing the purchase order for the work on the table in the entrance hallway. Table to be picked up after 02/23/25.
- 7. Staff Tours – Staff provided the e-mail to Human Resources to coordinate staff tours. Staff to follow-up with Public Works on the tours for employees.
- 8. English Brochures – Ms. Meagher is requesting more English pamphlets. Staff will look into a reprint but would like the board to do a complete review of the brochure.
- 9. Defibrillator Training – All docents have been trained. Coral Gables Fire Department did a great job and posted pictures on social media.
- 1. Merrick House Maintenance – Commissioner Menendez has requested an update on the restoration of some of the interior rooms at the House.
