Pioneer Day - Scheduled for April 25, 2026, 10:00 AM - Noon Scout Troop 457 - Flag raising and pledge **Speakers: Elected Officials in attendance will speak Lorrie Martin will do the Introductions (Host) Former Mayor Dorothy Thomson (10 minutes) Deena Bell-Llewellyn will speak on the state of the property (5 minutes) and will invite participants to tour CORRECTION: Deena Bell Llewellyn will give the closing remarks, explain the state of the cemetery, and invite attendees to participate in a guided tour. The tour may involve multiple Board members/volunteers helping guide attendees or directing people to specific points of interest. **Vendors Attending (1/2 table per vendor): Tropical Audubon Society The Villagers Genealogical Society Daughters of the American Revolution Keep Coral Gables Beautiful **Handouts/Posters: Deed Map General handouts (each vendor will have their own handouts) **Tours Board members to be roaming in order to answer questions. Lack of parking and rest rooms may be an issue. ** Additional Details Discussed: Set-up at 9:30am for vendors with tables 6 tables needed, approximately 20 chairs Anna to contact Sara Cody, County Historic Preservation Chief No trees coming out before 04/25/2026 Request podium and microphone from Public Works Will board members highlight specific graves for the tour
