Council authorization to apply for a National Park Service African American Civil Rights Grant in the amount of $30,000 to conduct historical research and documentation of the Civil Rights Case, Gilbert vs. Board of Public Instruction of Brevard County, Florida. Documentation will be used as an educational display in the Leon and Jewel Collins Museum of African American History and Culture. (Community Services Director)
