Provide approval for the City to apply for the 2019 Managing Community Forests Grant Program funds in the amount of $55,000 and to commit $55,000 towards the match requirements in the application to conduct a tree inventory, establish an urban forest master plan, and undertake a planting project to meet goals identified in the master plan over a three year period. In addition, approve a separate application submittal to apply for the 2019 Urban and Community Forestry Grant Program funds in the amount of $20,000 and to commit $20,000 towards the match requirements in the application to perform a tree survey of the City of Cocoa urban forests.
