11. 7 Last week was the SCFD Board Meeting and they approved distribution amounts for Tier III that were listed in draft funding plan. - Next board meeting is May 23rd - At this meeting the board will vote to approve the budget and distribution for Tier I organizations. - Those 5 Tier I organizations will give their presentations to the board. - Meeting is open to the public. Reauthorization Process Update: Deborah and Jessica have been working on a plan to work towards reauthorization in 2028. Higher voter turnout is expected in 2028 because of the presidential election. More details to come. Important Dates Coming Up: -June 5th Community Celebration and Awards Block Party (5-8pm) -Application Scores due May 16th
