  29. 34 Introduce and preliminarily adopt Salary Ordinance No. NS-5.24.65, an Ordinance amending Santa Clara County Salary Ordinance No. NS-5.24 relating to compensation of employees deleting one Prevention Program Analyst II or Prevention Program Analyst I position and adding one Program Manger I position in the Public Health Department.
  30. 35 Consider recommendations relating to the reclassification of one Senior Management Analyst in Office of the District Attorney.
  31. 36 Introduce and preliminarily adopt Salary Ordinance No. NS-5.24.63, an Ordinance amending Santa Clara County Salary Ordinance No. NS-5.24 relating to compensation of employees increasing the salary of the Hospital Communications Operator classification by approximately four percent.
  32. 37 Approve County sponsorship of SOMOS Mayfair in the amount of $1,000 from the Supervisorial District One allocation in the Office of the Clerk of the Board Fiscal Year 2023-2024 budget, to support the Gracias a la Vida 2024 annual fundraising event. (Arenas) (LA-1)

  34. 39 Approve Request for Appropriation Modification No. 179 - $1,882,403 increasing estimated revenue and expenditure appropriations in the Office of the County Executive and the Office of the Sheriff budgets, and transferring $310,592 from expenditure reimbursements in those departments to the General Fund Contingency Reserve, relating to Federal Fiscal Year 2023 State Homeland Security Grant Program funding. (4/5 Vote)

Delegation of authority shall expire on June 30, 2024.

  53. 58 Adopt Resolution delegating authority to the District Attorney, or designee, to negotiate, execute, amend, or terminate the Joint Powers Agreement with the California Victim Compensation Board to provide funds to the County in support of compensation to crime victims in an amount not to exceed $3,399,084 for period July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2027, following approval by County Counsel as to form and legality, and approval by the Office of the County Executive. Delegation of authority shall expire on June 30, 2027.
  54. 59 Introduce and preliminarily adopt Salary Ordinance No. NS-5.24.67, an Ordinance amending Santa Clara County Salary Ordinance No. NS-5.24 relating to compensation of employees revising Footnote 874 to extend the expiration date for two unclassified Attorney IV - Public Defender or Attorney III - Public Defender or Attorney II - Public Defender or Attorney I - Public Defender positions in the Office of the Public Defender. Positions shall expire at 11:59 p.m. on June 30, 2024.
  55. 60 Adopt Resolution authorizing the Foothill-De Anza Community College District to sell Election of 2020 General Obligation Bonds, Series C, on its own behalf in an amount not to exceed $90,000,000.
