CONSIDER ADOPTING RESOLUTION FOR AN ART PERMIT FOR A PROPOSED PUBLIC ART MURAL TO BE LOCATED ON A SELF-STORAGE COMMERCIAL BUILDING AT 2622 MORAGA ROAD, APN 416-140-052 AND DETERMINE THAT THE PROPOSAL IS CONSISTENT WITH THE REGULATIONS SET FORTH IN CHAPTER 17.63 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, ART IN PUBLIC PLACES. CEQA Compliance Statement: This project is categorically exempt under the California Environmental Quality Act Guidelines Section 15301, Existing Facilities, Class 1. This Class applies to minor alterations to existing facilities, such as the existing personal storage commercial building upon which the mural would be painted. This project is also exempt under CEQA Guidelines section 15061(b)(3) because it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the project will have an impact on the environment.
