7. 6 Levine Act
8. 7 The Levine Act (California Government Code Section 84308) prohibits, in certain cases, campaign contributions to members of the Board of Supervisors by those who have proceedings (e.g., applications for land use and other entitlements, contracts, etc.) pending before the Board of Supervisors and by those who may have an interest in such proceedings (including those acting as agents for applicants or potential contractors). Moreover, the Levine Act may require disclosure of contributions by such individuals. The law is complex and this brief description is not legal advice. If you or an agent have made any campaign contributions to a Board member in the 12 months before a proceeding in which you have an interest or you are contemplating making a contribution within the 12 months after such a proceeding, you are urged to review the Levine Act and consider consulting an attorney. Adopt resolution amending Resolution No. 080461: A) Calling and providing for an election to submit to the qualified electors of the Pescadero Municipal Advisory Council, for their approval, a ballot measure reducing the membership of the Pescadero Municipal Advisory Council to five members elected at-large and providing for the initial election of council members in the reduced membership body; and B) Requesting that the election of the ballot measure be consolidated with the November 5, 2024 General Election. 24-589 adopted Pass ▶ jump to 15:32

Adopt a resolution: A) Calling and providing for an election to submit to the voters of San Mateo County a ballot measure pursuant to Article XXXIV of the California Constitution authorizing public agencies in San Mateo County to annually develop, construct, or acquire housing units for low income persons, including for families, seniors, people with disabilities, and veterans, in the unincorporated and incorporated areas of San Mateo County, up to, collectively, 1% of the total housing units existing in San Mateo County, with any unused units carrying over for use in subsequent years; and B) Requesting that the election be consolidated with the November 5, 2024 general election. 24-590 continued ▶ jump to 15:35
