  2. 1 The meeting was called to order at 9:01 a.m. by Acting President Dave Pine. According to AB2449, Supervisor Warren Slocum will be participating remotely due to emergency circumstance caused by medical issues. Supervisor Slocum confirmed that there was no one in his room over the age of 18. Roll call vote was taken to allow this exception and have Supervisor Slocum participate remotely: Ayes: Supervisors Pine, Corzo, Mueller, and Slocum; Nays: None; Absent: Supervisor Canepa.

  12. 10 The Levine Act (California Government Code Section 84308) prohibits, in certain cases, campaign contributions to members of the Board of Supervisors by those who have proceedings (e.g., applications for land use and other entitlements, contracts, etc.) pending before the Board of Supervisors and by those who may have an interest in such proceedings (including those acting as agents for applicants or potential contractors). Moreover, the Levine Act may require disclosure of contributions by such individuals. The law is complex and this brief description is not legal advice.
