- 16 The Board of Supervisors voted 5-0 to file a lawsuit against Health Net of California, Inc. and Health Net Life Insurance Company in this case involving an underpayment for medical services provided by Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.

- 18 Fourth District Supervisor Curt Hagman highlighted the following items on the agenda: 45, 78, and 148. He stated that he will be attending the Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce for Innovation Roundtable at the Chino Hills Community Center from 10:30-11:30 on June 26, 2024. Supervisor Hagman provided an update regarding the following boards he sits on: Ontario International Airport Authority, San Bernardino County Transportation Authority, and Southcoast Air Quality Management District. Fifth District Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr. provided an update regarding the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority Board that he sits on. He thanked Public Works for the great work they did on the Lilac Avenue Streetlight Project in the unincorporated area of Rialto. He highlighted the following events he attended: County Fire Headquarters grand opening and the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Academy, which he was the keynote speaker. He further announced that he will be having a Cup of Joe event at Ayala Park Community Center on June 26, 2024 from 6 – 7 pm. Supervisor Baca highlighted the following items on the agenda: 56, 82, 94 and 103. Second District Supervisor Jesse Armendarez highlighted the following events he attended: ribbon cutting ceremony at Fire Station 81 in Fontana, Fire Station 178 uncoupling in Rancho Cucamonga, County Fire Headquarters grand opening, Upland Lemon Festival, Rancho Cucamonga State of the Chamber, and Fontana Chamber of Commerce installation dinner. He further stated that he did a tour of the West Valley Water District, and he thanked Water Board members Dan Jenkins and Angela Garcia for attending with him. Supervisor Armendarez had an Ignite the Conversation event to provide residents an opportunity to talk about what’s happening in the county. He thanked Fire Station 164 for hosting the event. He also invited everyone to his 2nd Annual Open House on August 8, 2024 from 5:30 – 7 pm. Chair and Third District Supervisor Dawn Rowe highlighted the following items on the agenda: 6 and 78. She announced that screening for Global Entry is being offered at SBD at the San Bernardino International Airport. Supervisor Rowe highlighted the annual Sheriff’s Mud Run event that she attended, and she also thanked the Sheriff’s Explorers.
