  24. 19 Vice Chair and Fifth District Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr. welcomed students attending Government Day 2025. He acknowledged the attendance of West Valley Water District General Manager, John Thiel. Vice Chair Baca, Jr. invited the community to attend the Grand Opening of Kessler Park on March 14, 2025. He said he hosted a faith-based roundtable. Supervisor Baca, Jr. honored five individuals during Black History Month. He highlighted the following items on the agenda: 9, 15, 41, and 44. Second District Supervisor Jesse Armendarez thanked the following departments for allowing him to tour their offices: Risk Management, Office of Emergency Services, In-Home Supportive Services Public Authority, and Regional Parks. He said he held a street vendor educational workshop in the City of Rancho Cucamonga. Supervisor Armendarez highlighted the following events he attended: State of the Region, State of the City in Fontana, and the Black History Parade in the City of Fontana. He recognized the Economic Development Depart for receiving an award for the Emprendedor@s Program. Supervisor Armendarez highlighted the following upcoming event: County Community Resource Fair at Don Day Park in the City of Fontana on February 27, 2025. Fourth District Supervisor Curt Hagman said they were able to help the City of Montclair get a new fire apparatus. He said he was the keynote speaker at the Greater Ontario Vision and will be the keynote speaker at the Upland Chamber on February 27, 2025. Supervisor Hagman stated ZM Trucks will hold a Grand Opening in the City of Fontana. He highlighted the following upcoming events: Mobile Pet Vaccination and Microchip Clinic in the City of Chino Hills and handing out the next Distinguished Business Award. Supervisor Hagman highlighted the following items on the agenda: 20, 23, and 30. He provided an update regarding the Ontario International Airport. Supervisor Hagman stated he was just presented with his 10-year County service pin. Chair and Third District Supervisor Dawn Rowe stated the Public Defender’s Office will bring a mobile defense clinic to Lucerne Valley on March 5, 2025. She said she attended a Unity Home fundraiser in Yucca Valley.
