Speakers may address the Board for up to three (3) minutes total on the consent calendar, up to three (3) minutes on each discussion item, and up to three (3) minutes total on Public Comment, not to exceed a total of twelve (12) minutes for the meeting, unless it is determined that a different limit is appropriate.   20. a) Consider additions of emergency or urgency items to the agenda to be placed on the Consent or Discussion Calendar at the Board’s discretion pursuant to Government Code section 54954.2(b) or (b)(2).
  21. 17 County Counsel, Tom Bunton, stated the Board of Supervisors voted 5-0, in Closed Session, to file a lawsuit. Once the lawsuit has been filed, the nature of the lawsuit, the defendants, and the other particulars shall be disclosed to any person upon inquiry, unless to do so would jeopardize the County’s ability to effectuate service of process on one or more unserved parties. Chief Executive Officer, Luther Snoke, stated the County has initiated two significant contracts with Donkeyland, effective April 1, 2025. He encouraged the public to visit the County's Animal Care website to learn more about the wild burro program.

  24. 19 Vice Chair and Fifth District Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr. discussed the following events he attended: Continuum of Care Full Board Membership Meeting and the 10th Annual Crime Victims’ Rights Week Memorial. He thanked the Sheriff’s Department for the operation performed in Rosena Ranch, Lytle Creek, and North Rialto Community, administering warrants and ensuring compliance checks for parole violations. Vice Chair Baca, Jr. congratulated the new Bloomington MAC members. He stated he is partnering with Public Works and Code Enforcement for an Earth Day Clean Up on April 26, 2025 in Muscoy and Bloomington. Vice Chair Baca, Jr. highlighted the following items on the agenda: 62 and 63. Second District Supervisor Jesse Armendarez discussed the following events he attended: Upland State of the City, communiTEA in Rancho Cucamonga, Pet Adoption events in Fontana and Upland, Shoes That Fit Ribbon Cutting, the 26th Annual Shine a Light on Child Abuse, Community Clean Up in San Antonio Heights, and a tour of CONFIRE. He highlighted the following events he hosted: first Youth Advisory Council meeting and a sidewalk vending workshop in Upland. Supervisor Armendarez recognized Fontana School Board member Mars Serna for receiving a lifetime achievement award. He provided an update regarding the following Board he sits on: Behavioral Health Commission. Supervisor Armendarez invited everyone to attend the Reel Reality Red Carpet Award Ceremony on April 12, 2025. Fourth District Supervisor Curt Hagman provided an update regarding the following Boards he sits on: Southern California Association of Governments and Ontario International Airport Authority. He highlighted the following upcoming events: Reel Reality on April 10, 2025 and the Annual Fourth District Open House on May 21, 2025. Supervisor Hagman congratulated Hasco Stores in Montclair on being named a distinguished business.
