Online registration opens at 8:30 AM the morning of the meeting. If participating virtually, you must register online and dial in using the same phone number used during registration before 9:00 AM for Closed Session and by 10:00 AM for Public Session. Calls from a blocked phone line or an unregistered number will not be called upon to speak. Please check your device and internet connection before joining. If you experience technical issues on your end while speaking, such as your phone dropping the call, you will be disconnected and unable to continue speaking on the item you were addressing. Requests to speak must be submitted before the item is called for consideration. Speakers may address the Board for up to three (3) minutes total on the consent calendar, up to three (3) minutes on each discussion item, and up to three (3) minutes total on Public Comment, not to exceed a total of twelve (12) minutes for the meeting, unless it is determined that a different limit is appropriate.   19. a) Consider additions of emergency or urgency items to the agenda to be placed on the Consent or Discussion Calendar at the Board’s discretion pursuant to Government Code section 54954.2(b) or (b)(2).
  20. 16 County Counsel, Laura Feingold, stated the Board, in Closed Session, considered Item No. 2, the matter of Jason Faghih v. Mohit Kumar Sehdev, et al. and voted 5-0 to authorize the filing of a cross-complaint against Insomniac Holdings, LLC for indemnity under an encroachment permit. The Board also considered Item No. 6, the matter of Martha Buelna v. County of San Bernardino, et al., and voted 5-0 to ratify the filing of a cross-complaint against SEA Financial, LLC and Bellasia Corporation for indemnity under a lease and service contract terms. Additionally, the Board considered Item No. 7 and voted 5-0 to authorize the filing of an action against defendants that will be disclosed upon request after the action is filed.
