PLANNING APPLICATION No.: PA-250082; ADDRESS:4651 MARLOMA DRIVE, ROLLING HILLS ESTATES, CA 90274; APPLICANT: JOHN JUGE, ARCH-SCAPE LLC; DESCRIPTION: A request for a Neighborhood Compatibility Determination (ND-250083) for a 1,419 square foot single-story residential addition, and three Minor Deviations for a single-story addition built along existing building lines with legal nonconforming side yard setbacks (MD-250085), and a covered front porch that encroaches into the front yard not further than the forwardmost building line (MD-250087) and will decrease the required front yard area by less than 10% (MD-250088). The Project was reviewed in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (Public Resources Code § 21000 and following: “CEQA”) and the State CEQA Guidelines (14 CCR § 15000 and following) and was determined to be Categorically Exempt under Class 15 of the State CEQA Guidelines, Section 15301(e)(1) (Existing Facilities). The project is consistent with the minor alteration of an existing private structure and does not expand the existing residential use. PLANNING APPLICATION No.: PA-250001; ADDRESS:82 DAPPLEGRAY LANE, ROLLING HILLS ESTATES CA 90274; APPLICANT: KELSEY FAIR, FAIR STUDIOS/HRS; DESCRIPTION: A request for a Neighborhood Compatibility Determination (NC-250002) for rear yard improvements, a Grading Permit (G-250003) for the import of more than 20 cubic yards of earth materials for fill greater than three feet in vertical height at its deepest point, a Variance to exceed lot coverage by more than 10% (V-250004) and a Variance to allow a designated future horse keeping area closer than 35 feet to on- and off-site dwellings (V-250081). The Project was reviewed in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (Public Resources Code § 21000 and following: “CEQA”) and the State CEQA Guidelines (14 CCR § 15000 and following) and was determined to be Categorically Exempt under Class 15 of the State CEQA Guidelines, Section 15301(e)(1) (Existing Facilities). The project is consistent with the minor alteration of an existing private structure and does not expand the existing residential use. Memorandum from: Whitney Berry, Senior Planner Recommendation: That the Planning Commission, open the Public Hearing; take public testimony; discuss the issues; close the Public Hearing; and adopt Resolution No. PA-250001, approving the project.
