The Project was reviewed in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (Public Resources Code § 21000 and following: “CEQA”) and the State CEQA Guidelines (14 CCR § 15000 and following) and was determined to be Categorically Exempt under Class 15 of the State CEQA Guidelines, Section 15301(e)(1) (Existing Facilities). PLANNING APPLICATION No.: PA-250169; ADDRESS: Citywide; APPLICANT: City of Rolling Hills Estates; DESCRIPTION: An Ordinance of the City of Rolling Hills Estates, California, amending and restating Chapters 17.56, 17.80, and 16.06, of the City of Rolling Hills Estates Municipal Code pertaining to the regulation of Accessory Dwelling Units, Urban Dwelling Units, and Urban Lot Splits. The proposed ordinances have been determined to be exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) under California Code of Regulations Title 14, Chapter 3, Section 15282(h), as this action will implement the provisions of Sections 65852.1 and 65852.2 of the Government Code as set forth in Section 21080.17 of the Public Resources Code, and Government Code section 65852.21(k) (the ordinances are not a “project” under CEQA).
