TRAFFIC AND SAFETY COMMITTEE ACTION ITEM: SILVER SPUR ROAD AND RANGE HORSE LANE - CONSIDERATION OF ADDITIONAL TRAFFIC CONTROLS Memorandum from Greg Grammer, Assistant City Manager and David Wahba, Planning Director Recommendation: That the City Council approve the Traffic and Safety Committee's Recommendation as follows: 1) Extend the guardrail approximately 25 feet north, towards Range Horse Lane; 2) Add raised reflective pavement markers (RPMs) on the yellow centerline striping every 12 feet from the entrance driveway of Ascension Church to approximately 200 feet north of Range Horse Lane (approximately 410 feet total striping); 3) Install white reflective markers on the top of every other post of the guardrail (approximately 12 feet spacing) from Range Horse Lane to the exit driveway of Ascension Church (approximately 350 feet of guardrail); and 4) Install three (3) additional sets of chevron signs (W1-8) at approximately 120 foot spacing as shown on Exhibit B.
