The Community Police Review Commission was created in order to promote public confidence in the professionalism and accountability of the sworn staff of the Riverside Police Department. - 3 Pursuant to the City Council Meeting Rules adopted by Resolution No. 24076, members of all Boards and Commissions and the public are reminded that they must preserve order and decorum throughout the Meeting. In that regard, members of all Boards and Commissions and the public are advised that any delay or disruption in the proceedings or a refusal to obey the orders of the City Council or the presiding officer constitutes a violation of these rules. The City of Riverside is committed to fostering a workplace that provides dignity, respect, and civility to our employees, customers, and the public they serve. State law and the City of Riverside Municipal Code Sunshine Ordinance (Section 4.05.050) restricts the Community Police Review Commission (CPRC) from taking action on an item unless it has been included on an agenda and posted at least 12 days in advance of a meeting or unless the matter falls within one of the narrow exceptions. Consequently, any item not listed on this agenda will normally have to be delayed until the item can be made part of a posted agenda. The City of Riverside wishes to make all of its public meetings accessible to the public. Upon request, this agenda will be made available in appropriate alternative formats to persons with disabilities, as required by 42 U.S.C. §12132 of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
