Columbia Avenue Project Applicant: Suzanne Goya Project Planner: Alan Fortune, Assistant Planner Council District: CC District No. 4 A request for a Major Certificate of Appropriateness (MAJCOA 21623-2023) for the retroactive approval of the replacement of three non-original aluminum windows with two vinyl windows and one set of vinyl French doors with lights on either side; the proposed replacement of a non-original aluminum bathroom window and non-original aluminum kitchen window with similarly sized sliding vinyl windows, and the repair and replacement of damaged sections of wooden fence within the front yard of a contributing resource on a property within the Lincoln Park National Register Historic District. Pursuant to the Guidelines for Implementation of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the proposed project meets the criteria for a Categorical Exemption in compliance with Article 19, Section 15301, Class 1 (Existing Facilities) and Section 15331, Class 31 (Historic Resource Restoration/Rehabilitation) in that the project consists of minor alterations to an existing structure that complies with the Secretary of Interior’s Rehabilitation Standards. Jefferson Avenue Project Applicant: George Moawad Project Planner: Alan Fortune, Assistant Planner Council District: CC District No. 4 A Call for Review of Staff’s decision to approve a Minor Certificate of Appropriateness (MINCOA-022883-2023) for the expansion of an existing one-car garage into a two-car garage and attached office located at the rear of a contributing resource on a property located within the Lincoln Park Historic District. Pursuant to the Guidelines for Implementation of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the proposed project meets the criteria for a Categorical Exemption in compliance with Article 19, Section 15301, Class 1 (Existing Facilities) and Section 15331, Class 31 (Historic Resource Restoration/Rehabilitation) in that the project consists of minor alterations to an existing structure that complies with the Secretary of Interior’s Rehabilitation Standards. Pursuant to the Guidelines for Implementation of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the proposed project meets the criteria for a Categorical Exemption in compliance with Article 19, Section 15301, Class 1 (Existing Facilities) and Section 15331, Class 31 (Historic Resource Restoration/Rehabilitation) in that the project consists of minor alterations to an existing structure that complies with the Secretary of Interior’s Rehabilitation Standards.
