Adoption of a Resolution Approving the Application for Grant Funds for the California Museum Grant Program It is recommended that the City Council take following actions: 1) Adopt the following resolution: RESOLUTION NO. 2024-67 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR GRANT FUNDS FOR THE CALIFORNIA MUSEUM GRANT PROGRAM 2) Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute all documents related with this action, with approval of the City Attorney as to form. 24-1345

Resolution to Amend the FY 2023-24 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Budget by Closing Completed Projects and Reappropriating Unexpended Funds It is recommended that the City Council adopt the following resolution: RESOLUTION NO. 2024-71 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, TO AMEND THE FY 2023-24 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGET BY CLOSING COMPLETED PROJECTS, RELEASING $522,733 OF UNEXPENDED FUNDS, REAPPROPRIATING $263,834 OF THOSE FUNDS, AND CHANGING THE TITLE AND DESCRIPTION OF “NEW EMERGENCY OPERATIONS CENTER - WHITE AVENUE” TO “FIRE STATION 182 IMPROVEMENTS AND NEW EMERGENCY OPERATIONS CENTER - WHITE AVENUE,” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-71068 24-1369

Approval of the Fiscal Year 2024-25 Submittal Projects List for the Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017 (RMRA/SB-1) It is recommended that the City Council adopt the following resolution: RESOLUTION NO. 2024-75 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A LIST OF PROJECTS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024-25 FUNDED BY SB-1, THE ROAD REPAIR AND ACCOUNTABILITY ACT OF 2017 24-1372

Approve the Sole Source Purchase of Two (2) Police Department Vehicles in the Amount Not to Exceed $127,506 It is recommended that the City Council approve the sole source purchase of two (2) replacement Police utility vehicles in the amount not to exceed $127,506 from Victorville Chevrolet - Cadillac. A 10% contingency is being recommended to cover any market rate adjustments that the dealer may impose at the time of purchase due to current delays in automobile production and inventory affecting availability. 24-1376

Adoption of a Pilot Park Ambassador Program It is recommended that the City Council take the following actions: 1) Adopt a pilot Park Ambassador Program; and 2) Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute all documents related with this action, with approval of the City Attorney as to form. 24-1370

Introduction and First Reading of Ordinance No. 4344 It is recommended that the City Council take the following actions: 1) Hereby determine that the adoption of this Ordinance is exempt pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to State CEQA Guidelines Section 15061 (b)(3); and, 2) Introduce, waive further and give first reading to the following ordinance: ORDINANCE NO. 4344 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTIONS 62-200 OF CHAPTERS 62, ALSO KNOWN AS THE CODE OF THE CITY OF POMONA, REGULATING BACKFLOW PREVENTION DEVICES AND ADOPTING THE CROSS CONNECTION CONTROL POLICY HANDBOOK 24-1375
