- 11 Review of Notice of Funding Availability Process. Staff presented updates on the Review of the Notice of Funding Availability Process. The Committee directed staff to: •Consider updating the name and description of our funding method (terms such as first come first serve and over the counter can be confusing); •Consider adding more objective requirements to the City's Underwriting Guidelines; •Review the leveraging requirement in the Underwriting Guidelines to confirm if still feasible, given the City's limited resources. •Review ministerial requirements such as SB 330 and SB 35 with City Attorney to confirm timing of approvals and number of community meetings; •Committee member Hicks made a request to staff to evaluate whether or not texting responses to members of the public who have housing questions is possible/feasible.
