  3. 3 At least 72 hours prior to each regular Recreation and Parks Commission meeting, a complete agenda packet is available for review on the City's website at www.cityofmerced.org or at the City Clerk's Office, 678 W. 18th Street, Merced, CA 95340. All public records relation to an open session item that are distributed to a majority of the Commission will be available for public inspection at the City Clerk's Office during regular business hours. Assisted hearing devices are available for meetings held in the Council Chamber.
  4. 4 PUBLIC COMMENT: OBTAIN SPEAKER CARD FROM THE RECREATION AND PARKS COMMISSION CLERK
  5. 5 Members of the audience who wish to address the Recreation and Parks Commission are requested to complete a speaker card available at the podium against the back of the Council Chamber. Please submit the completed card to the Commission Clerk before the item is called, preferably before the meeting begins. Material may be emailed to recreation@cityofmerced.org no later than 1 PM on the day of the meeting. Please specify which portion of the agenda you are commenting on, for example, Report item # or Public Comment. Your comments will be presented to the Board/Commission at the appropriate time. Any correspondence received after 1 PM will be distributed to the Board/Commission and retained for the official record.

  13. 13 SUBJECT: Review of Inclusive Themed Playground at Community Park 42, Merced’s Regional Sports Complex, for the Amount of $459,021.29 REPORT IN BRIEF Presentation on the design & build playground amenities agreed to in an amount not to exceed $459,021.29 with PlayCore Wisconsin Inc. dba GameTime to fulfil the First 5 of Merced County Safe Play Initiative.   14. 14 SUBJECT: Review Youth Center Program Quarterly Reports in Consideration of use of the Facility as a Service Provider. REPORT IN BRIEF Youth Service Providers have submitted the attached reports to communicate program efforts to the Recreation and Parks Commission in consideration of their use of the facility as a Service Provider. These quarterly reports reflect the efforts made to program in the Youth Center awarded to each Provider for the current fiscal year. RECOMMENDATION Information Only 25-101
  15. 15 SUBJECT: High Speed Rail Updates REPORT IN BRIEF Parks & Community Services Director Christopher Jensen will provide ongoing updates as available on High Speed Rail as it relates to the acquisition of the Merced Senior Community Center and the McCombs Youth Center.
