Also consider approval to waive competitive bidding requirements for the purchase of standardized equipment from Rugged Depot for $79,982.67. RECOMMENDATION City Council - Adopt a motion: A. Approving a Supplemental Appropriation in the amount of $218,468 from the unreserved, unencumbered fund balance of Fund 2001-Meaure C for the purchase of equipment for seven (7) Police SUVs, two (2) Police Trucks and three (3) unmarked sedans; and, B. Approving to waive the competitive bidding requirements as stated in Section 3.04.210 of the Merced Municipal Code for standardization of equipment from Rugged Depot for $79,982.67; and, C. Authorizing the City Manager and Deputy City Manager to execute the necessary documents; and, D. Authorizing the Finance Officer to make the necessary budget adjustments.
