SUBJECT: Adoption of a Resolution Authorizing the City Manager to Submit a Grant Application to the California Strategic Growth Council to Fund the Transformative Climate Communities Program Planning Grant REPORT IN BRIEF Considers the adoption of a resolution authorizing submittal of a grant application to the California Strategic Growth Council for the Transformative Climate Communities Program Planning Grant. No matching funds are required. RECOMMENDATION City Council - Adopt a motion: A. Adopting Resolution 2023-62, a resolution of the City Council of the City of Merced, California, authorizing submittal of grant proposal for Transformative Climate Communities Planning Grant; and, B. Authorizing the City Manager or the Deputy City Manager to execute the necessary documents.
