SUBJECT: Authorization to Commit Housing Grant Funds from the State of California Department of Housing and Community Development from the Permanent Local Housing Allocation (PLHA) Program for 2021-2023 in the Amount of Approximately $1,608,830 to Linc Housing REPORT IN BRIEF Considers committing housing grant funds from the State of California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) from the Permanent Local Housing Allocation (PLHA) Program for the years 2021-2023 in the approximate amount of $1,608,830 to Linc Housing. RECOMMENDATION City Council - Adopt a motion: A. Pledging 95% of PLHA 2021-2023 funds to Linc Housing towards a 100% affordable multifamily housing project and issuing them a letter of commitment; and, B. Authorizing the City Manager or Deputy City Manager to execute all documents, including any amendments.
