SUBJECT: Recommendation to the Merced City Council Regarding the Distribution of the 2022 Wahneta Hall Trust Funds in the Amount of $3,581 to the Kiwanis Club of Greater Merced to Operate and Maintain a Mini Train in Applegate Park, or to the Merced Symphony in the Amount of $3,00 to Hold a Concert in the Park, or Award Each Applicant a Portion of the Total Amount Available REPORT IN BRIEF The Commission will provide a recommendation to the Merced City Council regarding of the disbursement of the Wahneta Hall Trust Fund to the Kiwanis Club of Greater Merced in the amount of $3,581 to be used to operate and maintain the train at Kiddieland in Applegate Park or to the Merced Symphony in the amount of $3,000 to hold a concert in the park or award a portion of the total amount available to each applicant. RECOMMENDATION Recreation and Parks Commission - Adopt a motion: A. Recommending Approval of an allocation of the 2021-22 Wahneta Hall Trust Funds of $3,581 to the Kiwanis Club of Greater Merced; or, B. Recommending Approval of an allocation of the 2021-22 Wahneta Hall Trust Funds of $3,000 to the Merced Symphony; or, C. Recommending Approval of an allocation of a portion of the 2021-22 Wahneta Hall Trust Funds to each of the applicants to the Merced City Council.
