SUBJECT: Review of Training Catalog to Support Staff and Partner Preparation to Work with Youth REPORT IN BRIEF The Subcommittee is reporting on the development of a catalog of trainings to be sought and obtained by staff and partners that will be working with youth on behalf of the City of Merced Parks and Recreation Department. Specifically, this series of trainings will be used to support the preparation of City of Merced staff identified as mentors to support the Proposition 64 program. RECOMMENDATION Provide feedback and insight as to the content of trainings outlined by the subcommittee and the suggestion of outlining the type of organization (internal, external or both) that the catalog should be offered to support their preparation to serve the youth of the City of Merced. The recommendation is for the commission to discuss and provide feedback to the subcommittee on the development of the catalog.
