SUBJECT: First Amendments to Program Year 2021-22 Subrecipient Agreements with Merced Rescue Mission for the “Hope for Families” Program and with Alliance for Community Transformations for the “Achieving Housing and Economic Stability with Survivors of Violence” Program REPORT IN BRIEF Considers extending the Term of Performance for the existing Agreement with Merced Rescue Mission’s “Hope for Families” Program; and considers restating the Term of Performance and funding source for the existing Agreement with Alliance for Community Transformations’ “Achieving Housing and Economic Stability with Survivors of Violence” Program. RECOMMENDATION City Council - Adopt a motion: A. Approving the First Amendment to the Agreement between the City of Merced and Merced Rescue Mission for the Community Development Block Grant Acquisition and Rehabilitation of Residential Property “Hope for Families” Program; and, B. Approving the First Amendment to the Agreement between the City of Merced and Alliance for Community Transformations for the Community Development Block Grant “Achieving Housing and Economic Stability with Survivors of Violence” Security Deposit/Job Cost Assistance and Living Skills Training Program; and, C. Authorizing the City Manager or Deputy City Manager to execute the necessary documents, and if necessary, authorize staff to make necessary minor modifications to the agreements; and, D. Authorizing the Finance Officer to make any necessary adjustments.
