SUBJECT: Approval to Accept and Appropriate Grant Funds from the State of California Department of Housing and Community Development from the Permanent Local Housing Allocation Program in the Amount of $1,324,969 REPORT IN BRIEF Consider accepting and appropriating grant funds from the State of California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) from the Permanent Local Housing Allocation (PLHA) program in the Amount of $1,324,969. RECOMMENDATION City Council - Adopt a motion: A. Accepting PLHA grant funds in the amount of $1,324,969; and, B. Increasing revenue account 099-1301-324.02-00 in the amount of $1,324,969 and appropriating the same to 099-1301-512.17-00 for expenditures; and, C. Authorizing the use of pooled cash to cover the appropriation until grant funds are reimbursed; and, D. Authorizing the Finance Officer to make the necessary budget adjustments; and, E. Authorizing the City Manager or Deputy City Manager to execute all documents, including any amendments.
