SUBJECT: Considers a Lease Agreement for McCombs Youth Center with Review of Recommendation for Boys and Girls Club of Merced County to be Awarded the Lease for Afterschool Youth Programming for a One Year Term with an Option to Extend the Term for an Additional One Year Term Over the Next Two Years REPORT IN BRIEF In 2021 the lease agreement for McCombs Youth Center had expired with the Boys and Girls Club of Merced County. The Boys and Girls Club of Merced County has expressed interest in the continued use of the McCombs Youth Center to provide afterschool programming, summer camps, and community wide events at the McCombs Youth Center. The department is seeking the Commissions approval of this recommendation and the submission to City Council for approval. The term of the lease will be for one year with an option to extend for an additional two years on a year to year basis. RECOMMENDATION Adopt a motion recommending approval of Lease Agreement with Boys and Girls Club of Merced County for afterschool youth programming at the McCombs Youth Center.
