SUBJECT: Approval of a Lease Agreement for the Stephen Leonard Youth Center With the Soccer Academy of Merced, Inc. and a Lease Agreement for McNamara Youth Center With Symple Equazion Until June 30, 2021 With In-Kind Services In-Lieu of Rent REPORT IN BRIEF Proposed lease agreements with the Soccer Academy of Merced, Inc for the youth center at Stephen Leonard Park (640 T Street) and Symple Equazion for the youth center at McNamara Park (1040 Canal Street) until June 30, 2021. Instead of paying rent, the organizations will provide in-kind services. RECOMMENDATION City Council - Adopt a motion: A. Approving the lease agreement between the City of Merced and Soccer Academy of Merced, Inc., for the Stephen Leonard Park youth center located at 640 T Street; and, B. Approving the lease agreement between the City of Merced and Symple Equazion for the McNamara Youth Center located at 1040 Canal Street; and, C. Authorizing the City Manager or designee to execute the necessary documents.
