SUBJECT: Update on the Coronavirus Relief Fund Utilization and Request the Approval to Increase Revenue in the Amount of $1,088,029 for Coronavirus Relief Funds from the State of California Department of Finance and Appropriating $697,000 to Reimburse Expenditures Due to COVID-19 in Fiscal Year 2020-2021 REPORT IN BRIEF Provide an update on the Coronavirus Relief Fund Utilization and request the approval of an increase to revenue in the amount of $1,088,029 for Coronavirus Relief Funds from the State of California Department of Finance and appropriating $697,000 to reimburse expenditures due to COVID-19. RECOMMENDATION City Council - Adopt a motion: A. Increasing revenue account 001-0701-360.01-86 CARES Act Funding in the amount of $1,088,029 for Coronavirus Relief Funds from the State of California Department of Finance; and, B. Approving an appropriation in the amount of $697,000 in order to cover COVID-19 reimbursement of expenditures in Fiscal Year 2020-2021; and, C. Authorizing the Finance Officer to make any necessary budget adjustments.
