SUBJECT: Adoption of Resolutions Approving Proposition 68 Statewide Park Program Grant Round 4 - Grant Applications for Bob Hart Square Park Expansion Project, CP-42 Park Project, and Alfarata Ranch Park Project for an Amount Not to Exceed $8,500,000 Per Application REPORT IN BRIEF Considers approving Resolutions to related to the Proposition 68 Statewide Park Program Grant Round 4 applications for Bob Hart Square, CP-42 and Alfarata Ranch parks. RECOMMENDATION City Council - Adopt a motion: A. Authorizing the Parks and Recreation Department to submit 3 Proposition 68 Statewide Park Program Round 4 grant applications for an amount not to exceed $8,500,000 each; and, B. Adopting Resolution 2020-99, a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Merced, California, approving the application for Statewide Park Development and Community Revitalization Program Grant Funds for Bob Hart Square Park Expansion Project; and, C. Adopting Resolution 2020-100, a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Merced, California, Approving the Application for Statewide Park Development and Community Revitalization Program Grant Funds for CP-42 Park Project; and, D. Adopting Resolution 2020-101, a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Merced, California, Approving the Application for Statewide Park Development and Community Revitalization Program Grant Funds for Alfarata Ranch Park Project; and, E. Authorizing the City Manager or designee to execute the necessary documents.
