SUBJECT: Formally Announcing the Mayor and City Council’s Selection for City Manager and Approval of the City Manager’s Employment Agreement for a Term of Three (3) Years REPORT IN BRIEF The Mayor and City Council have concluded their search for a City Manager and desires to enter into an employment agreement with the candidate the Mayor and City Council have selected to serve as Merced’s City Manager. RECOMMENDATION City Council - Adopt a motion: A. Formally Announcing the Mayor and City Council’s Selection for City Manager and Approving the City Manager’s Employment Agreement; and, B. Authorizing the Mayor to sign the City Manager’s Employment Agreement on behalf of the City.
