SUBJECT: Approval of Addendum to Current Software Agreement with Tyler Technologies to Purchase Two Additional Software Solutions and Hardware Which Includes Field Reporting, E-Citation, Accident, and Field Investigations Modules for $153,383 in Order for the Police Department to Adhere to Mandates by the United States Department Of Justice Federal Bureau Investigations (FBI) and the State of California Department Of Justice (CADOJ) and will also Assist in the Efficiency and Productivity of the Department REPORT IN BRIEF Authorizes the city to enter into an addendum to our current software agreement for $153,383 to adhere to mandates by the FBI and CADOJ to add the field reporting module, e-citation module, accident module, and field investigations (FI) module to our existing software solutions to enhance transparent reporting in the community. RECOMMENDATION City Council - Adopt a motion: A. Approving the addendum to the city’s software solutions agreement with Tyler Technologies and maintenance solutions for those modules; and, B. Approving a supplemental appropriation of $153,383 from the unreserved and unencumbered balance in Fund 083-Measure Y Police to account 083-1055-522-24-00; and, C. Authorizing the City Manager to execute any necessary documents; and, D. Authorizing the Finance Officer to make the necessary budget adjustment.
