SUBJECT: Approval of Professional Services Agreement with Stantec Consulting Services, Inc., in the Amount of $100,356 for Wastewater Collection System Hydraulic Model Conversion and Update, Flow Data Analysis/Input, Model Recalibration and South Trunk Sewer Service Alternatives Analysis, and Waive of Competitive Bidding Requirements REPORT IN BRIEF Considers waiving the competitive bidding requirements pursuant to Merced Municipal Code Section 3.04.210 for Professional Services, and approving an agreement with Stantec Consulting Services, Inc., in the amount of $100,356, for wastewater collection system hydraulic model conversion and update, flow data analysis/Input, model recalibration and south trunk sewer service alternatives analysis. RECOMMENDATION City Council - Adopt a motion: A. Waving City’s competitive requirements as permitted by Merced Municipal Code section 3.04.120 for the procurement of Professional Services; and, B. Approving a professional services agreement with Stantec Consulting Services, Inc., in the amount of $100,356 for Wastewater Collection System Hydraulic Model Conversion and Update, Flow Data Analysis/Input, Model Recalibration and South Trunk Sewer Service Alternatives Analysis; and, C. Authorizing the City Manager or the Assistant City Manager to execute the necessary documents.
