2. 2 The Council may recess to Closed Session, pursuant to Government Code Sections 54956.9(d)(1), (d)(2), and (e)(2) (numerous potential cases) to confer with its legal counsel relative to, and significant exposure to litigation concerning, the case entitled Mark Willits, et al. v. City of Los Angeles , United States District Court Case No. 10­cv­05782. (This matter arises out of the American with Disabilities Act sidewalk repair settlement regarding the City's public right-of-way.) 3. 3 Bureau of Street Lighting report and Ordinance of Intention relative to order the necessary street lighting systems to be operated, maintained, and repaired, including furnishing electric energy, for Fiscal Year 2026-27, for the lighting of that district designated as the City of Los Angeles Streetlight Maintenance Assessment District No. 5500, pursuant to the provisions of the Los Angeles Administrative Code, California Government Code, and Proposition 218, and related matters.
4. 4 Bureau of Engineering report relative to Pedestrian Facility Inventory and Condition Assessment Pilot Project, the Pedestrian Facility Damage Severity Matrix, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Self Evaluation and Transition Plan for Public Right of Way, and related matters.
5. 5 Board of Public Works report relative to the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to establish a pre-qualified list of contractors for urgent necessity design/build repairs of pedestrian facilities for the City.
6. 6 Bureau of Engineering report relative to the use of Rapid Micro-Trenching in accordance with requirements established by the City Engineer and requiring a Street Damage Restoration Fee (SDRF) payment matching that of regular Micro-Trenching.
7. 7 Joint report from Bureau of Engineering, Bureau of Sanitation, Department of Transportation, Department of Building and Safety, and Economic and Workforce Development Department relative to addressing the lack of enrollment in the permanent L.A. Al Fresco program. (This item is referred to Economic Development and Jobs Committee and Public Works Committee.)
8. 8 Motion (Padilla – Rodriguez) relative to issues with the MyLA311 system. (Referred to the Government Operations Committee and Public Works Committee)
9. 9 Motion (Blumenfield - Lee) relative to vacating a portion of Canoga Avenue between Dumetz Road and Saltillo Street to narrow the public right of way to be consistent with a designation as a Collector Street.
10. 10 Board of Public Works report relative to the Alameda Street Widening Project, from Anaheim Street to Harry Bridges Boulevard, and the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) compliance for the Project. (This item is referred to the Energy and Environment Committee and Public Works Committee. On September 16, 2025, the Energy and Environment Committee approved this item.)
