2. 2 Motion (Soto-Martínez – McOsker) relative to directing the Chief Legislative Analyst, in coordination with all other relevant departments, and in consultation with local stakeholders and academics with expertise, to report on economic development best practices at a local government level and recommendations on the most effective structure for the City to carry out economic development functions and strategies; and related matters.

5. 5 Motion (Rodriguez - Blumenfield) relative to instructing the Economic and Workforce Development Department, in consultation with relevant departments, to report to Council within 30 days with recommendations on providing a pre-certification process to assist small and local businesses in preparing to bid on contracting opportunities related to major events hosted in Los Angeles.
