10. 10 Motion (Nazarian – Blumenfield) relative to instructing the City Attorney, with assistance from FilmLA, the Board of Public Works, the Los Angeles Police Department, the Los Angeles Fire Department, and the Los Angeles Department of Transportation, to prepare and present within 60 days an ordinance establishing a free Micro-Shoot Permit, required for any public-space filming activity.
11. 11 Motion (Nazarian – Lee) relative to waiving Los Angeles Fire Departtment (LAFD) "spot check" fees, a report on LAFD's ability to recover associated costs; and, reports on a strategy for proactive enforcement and public education initiative regarding Los Angeles Municipal Code Section 41.20 and lawful filming, establishment of a citywide Motion Picture Officer staffing matrix, implementation of a civilian Film Safety Officer classification; and, related matters. 12. 12 Motion (Nazarian - McOsker) relative to requesting the City Controller to conduct an independent audit of the City's complete film permitting ecosystem, including but not limited to, departmental operations, FilmLA Contract performance and operations, public transparency structural and legislative barriers, and instructing various departments to prepare an Annual Keep Hollywood Home Implementation report; and related matters.
13. 13 Motion (Nazarian – Park) relative to instructing various offices and departments, and FilmLA, with support from all Countywide Councils of Governments, to develop and launch a Citywide Film Location Fan Tour within 90 days, a "Made in LA" Film Branding Initiative, including, an annual "Made in LA Film Week" celebrating the City's film legacy, and instructing various departments, and FilmLA, to publish a comprehensive Film Business Directory, within 90 days; and related matters.
14. 14 Motion (Nazarian – Raman) relative to instructing all departments with responsibilities under Executive Directive 11 — including the Los Angeles Police Department, Los Angeles Fire Department, Department ofTransportation, Department of Recreation and Parks. Bureau of Street Services. Bureau of Engineering, Department of Water and Power, Port of Los Angeles, and FilmLA — to report back within 45 days on their implementation of ED 11; and related matters.
15. 15 Motion (Nazarian – Padilla) reative to instructing the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP), Department of Building and Safety (LADBS), Department of City Planning (DCP). Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), and the Board of Public Works (BPW), with support from the Chief Legislative Analyst (CLA), to develop and present within 60 days a Citywide Soundstage Certification and Fast-Track Infrastructure Program; and related matters.
16. 16 Motion (Nazarian – Hutt) relative to making all non-specialized City-owned parking lots, yards, staging areas, and civic properties available to film and television productions for a nominal fee.
17. 17 Motion (Nazarian - Harris-Dawson) relative to instructing the Department of Recreation and Parks (RAP), Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), Department of Transportation (LADOT), Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), Board of Public Works (BPW) Bureau of Street Services (BSS), with assistance from FilmLA, and any other relevant departments involved in the film permitting process, to report within 90 days on a unified Citywide Filming Conditions Framework; and related matters.
18. 18 Motion (Nazarian - McOsker) relative to instructing the Economic and Workforce Development Department (EWDD) and FilmLA, with support from all overlapping Los Angeles County Councils of Government, to develop and negotiate regional Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with neighboring film jurisdictions within 180 days; and related matters.
