1. 1 Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, Bureau of Street Services, Bureau of Street Lighting, Bureau of Engineering, Bureau of Sanitation, Los Angeles Department of Transportation, Library Department, Recreation and Parks, and Department of General Services to report relative to City-owned infrastructure impacted by the January 2025 wildfires.
2. 2 City Administrative Officer report relative to agreement with IEM International, Inc. (Contract No. C-200961) to provide technical assistance for wildfire and urban interface recovery efforts.
3. 3 Department of Animal Services report relative to reuniting animals and their guardians by keeping animals found at or near the fire zone at the West Los Angeles Animal Shelter to increase the likelihood of reunification and other related matters.
4. 4 Los Angeles Department of Water and Power report relative to the delaying, defering, and/or of waiving water bill charges for those customers whose homes or businesses were destroyed or substantially damaged by the January 2025 wildfires.
5. 5 Department of Animal Services report relative to acceptance of a $40,000 donation from the Los Angeles Chargers to assist with the disaster relief and emergency response to the 2025 Windstorm and Fire Event.
6. 6 Department of Animal Services report relative to acceptance of a $50,000 grant from PetSmart Charities for natural disaster emergency relief efforts in response to the 2025 Windstorm and Fire Event.
7. 7 Resolution (Park – Harris-Dawson – Nazarian) relative to requesting the State of California to provide temporary financial assistance to address the unforeseen expenditure of resources from the Pacific Palisades Fire to ensure that essential services continue to be provided to the residents of the City of Los Angele with the State being paid back upon reimbursement by the Federal Government.
8. 8 Motion (Rodriguez – Yaroslavsky, Blumenfield) relative to current maps of all undergrounded and aboveground utilities in Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zones and the feasibility and implementation of a tiered system for undergrounding powerlines.
